Biography

Susanne Ashmore graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in 1978. Since her graduation she has continued to strive for excellence. Susanne has exhibited her works nationally and internationally. She has won awards here and abroad, including the international juried Ceramics Contest in Mino, Japan where she received recognition on three separate occasions. Susanne's works are in private, public and corporate collections.

Susanne creates her work in porcelain using a potter's wheel and fires her works in either oxidation or a reduction atmosphere. She is currently enjoying the challenges associated with wood firing.
