Biography
Brad Keys was born in Camrose, Alberta in 1968. After completing a degree in Science, Brad discovered clay at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. "It was everything I was looking for in a creative medium - mud, chemicals and fire."
Returning to Alberta, he attended the Alberta College of Art and Design. Brad established a reputation built on innovative use of regional imagery - landscape patterns, prairie and foothill colours, buffalo, trout, straw bales and grain elevators - in functional pottery and larger ceremonial/sculptural pieces.
